In an attempt to raise morale and productivity, organizations should try something. I recently read an article in the Wall Street Journal (boring meetings) about how to encourage boring meetings. Officials authorized pencils and water pistols for the creation of productivity. May the memory behavior are for productivity no recreation.
The problem with today's organizations is with executives who can lead and workers with little passion. Instead of solving the problem, gang leaders Place / AIDS in surgical incisions. Solve the problem.
1. Got Talent. Talent is innate. Skills can be taught and organizations are constantly put the wrong people wrong. There are people in sales professionals in the adoption of sales managers should be fired. Where they happen and people aligned with talent. Eliminate laziness.
2. Conflict. Supervisors and managers are afraid of conflict in the workplace. Managers do not take into account the fear and conflict. The inability to cope with poor subordinates seriously affects productivity.
3. Accountability. Everyone has a job and should do. The deadlines and tasks must be upheld. Those who do not comply should be addressed.
4. Observed behavior. Constantly review and ensure that it meets its mission, vision and values of the organization.
5. Stop the circus. Save the animals ridiculous tricks, the canons of the flight sample and crayons for recreation and kindergartens. Treat as adults such. If John and Peter does not love a one-hour mountain bike ride with a case of beer provides one of them will not return. No matter for productivity and income of waste needs.
6. The Last Supper. Allow everyone to eat at the table. End of the aristocracy and allow democracy. Innovation thrives in those closer to their customers. The concept is difficult to understand, but fruitful, as all organizations that exist for a reason – the customer!
Productivity begins with the frank relations between employer and employee. Note It is imperative that people did not leave the companies – they leave bad managers.
To dilute the impact on productivity, take time to build relationships with employees through the interaction staff. People need honest feedback to boost morale, productivity and ultimately, responsibility.
