How do I remove the smell and taste of plastic from a coffee machine?
I have a coffee in New Black and Decker all plastics, including the pitcher. Plastic has a sensitive smell and taste of coffee, almost undrinkable. You have run vinegar through several times, washed several times with water several times, baking soda too. Again after several pots of coffee too. Ideas? Throw it away? My husband thinks it is tolerable, but I can drink. And I can not think of anything good for you, if not harmful. (gas, plastic, not the coffee):) Thanks.
